Training Scholarships

If you require financial aid for flight training you can apply for a credit line from your bank or a student loan from the Manitoba Government. Click here

In addition, you can apply for scholarships. Check with your flight school to see if they offer any scholarships. Below is a list of available scholarships in Canada:


1. EAA US/Canada

  • $11,000 Ray Aviation PPL Award

  • $14,000 Neil Armstrong Award

                        17. Wings of Opportunity Night Rating Scholarship

                      You also may be able to lower the cost of your flight training through flying clubs and your income taxes. If you are looking to build PIC time, research local flying clubs in your area. Some clubs offer aircraft rentals at a lower cost than flight schools. If you're located in Manitoba, the Manitoba 99s offer a Cessna 150 to members.
